This presentation was written for the April 2004 Rock Art Symposium hosted by the British Academy. It is a joint presentation between Archaeoptics and Wessex Archaeology discussing, firstly, theory and suitability of the use of 3D scanners to record rock art, secondly, some results of Archaeoptics’ use of this technology in recording rock art and, finally, some results from our joint recording of Stonehenge.

The presentation can be downloaded here in PDF format (1.6Mb).
